Join Still I Run for the Lake Michigan Credit Union Bridge Run

The kind folks at the Lake Michigan Credit Union Bridge Run have set up discount codes for Still I Run community members! The race, which is September 17, is the one race in Grand Rapids that I haven’t run yet, so I’m excited to invite you all to join me. The Bridge Run starts in the heart of downtown, goes over the city’s historic bridges, along the Grand River, through parks, and back to the Start/Finish area. If you’re a race medal junkie like I am, you can expect to find some awesome bling at the finish line.

We have a total of 15 discount codes for $7.50 off either the 5K or 10 mile. This would make the 5K $22.50 and the 10 Mile $37.50. Sign up today to take advantage of the discount code and to avoid the price increase on August 30.

You’ll use code: BOTG2017 upon checkout when you register.

To help you prep for the race, I created both a 5K and 10 Mile training plan! The 5K plan is eight weeks long, while the 10 Mile plan is 10 weeks long. If you plan on using either of these plans, the official start date for the 5K one is July 24. The start date for the 10 Mile training plan is July 10.

If you want to represent Still I Run while at the Bridge Run on September 17, we now having women’s racing singlets available on the store! They come in Hot Coral or Royal Blue! The tops are $28 with 20% of the sale going back to the Pine Rest Patient Assistance Fund. I hope to be adding men’s racing shirts to the shop soon.

Great article! I clicked on the 10 mile plan and it gave me the 5k plan. I’m not signed up for this race and I’m curious if I could handle the training over the next 10 weeks :).
