Part of what we want to do here at Still I Run is to provide the community with training plans. I’ve found that through the years, training plans are the best way to accomplish a goal. It doesn’t matter if your goal is to run your first official race, or if it’s just to reach a certain distance. A plan will help you get to where you want to go!
With these training plans, I really want to offer a bit more than just various distance goals each day. You’ll notice that every Monday of the plan begins with a motivational video. You don’t have to watch the videos, but I’m hoping you will. The goal of them is to get you pumped up for the week.
Also, you’ll notice there are links to various cross-training exercises throughout the plan. I personally have always hated it when training plans say “Hey, you should cross train on this particular day”, but then don’t offer any suggestions as to what to do. So, with these training plans, I’m giving you suggestions! I hope it makes the whole process of training just a bit easier on you. The goal is to have these plans help you succeed.
